How did I get to this place and time?
I often wonder what I did.
I often wonder did I make you mad.
I wonder where it all went wrong.
My life that once was so colorful, so full of life and love is now cold and dead.
I’m not yet gone, but forgotten.
There isn’t anyone here to save but I scream for help.
No one is coming; my world is just me now.Â
My life only exists of me.
I’m not yet gone, but forgotten.
I allowed my life to revolve around you.Â
Now you’re gone, you left.
You kept me safe.
You saved my life.
I gave you everything.
I’m not yet gone, but forgotten.
I remember the way we kissed.
I remember the way we made love.
I remember the way you helped me grow.
I remember the way you said forever.
I remember the words you promised me.
I’m not yet gone, but forgotten.
You lied though.
You’re gone, no more kisses.
You’re gone, no more love.
You’re gone, no more growth.
You’re gone, no more forever.
You’re gone, no more promises.Â
I’m not yet gone, but forgotten.
I stand here, in this empty world, alone and cold.
I scream, I yell, I look for answers that don’t come.
I tremble with fear, and worry, what’s to come?
I’m not yet gone, but forgotten.
