You Make Me Smile

You have come into my life like a breath of fresh air
Wherever I am, no matter what I am doing
You make me smile. As I awaken each morning 
there is a smile on my face reminiscing of dreams filled 
with you…..

Sweet thoughts of you fill my day knowing that 
I will soon hear or read those sweet words you fill 
my heart with. I see your name appear and it makes me 
smile. I wonder could he be this happy and smiling
constantly as me?

There are days I feel inebriated with thoughts of your
touch, your smell, your taste. I feel your hands touching
my skin and I lose control. I feel your lips on mine and
my mouth slowly opens to take your tongue. I lose myself
in thoughts of you…..

My eyes open and I awaken from my inebriated state, 
with a smile only you bring to my face, my heart. 
My heart was in pain because of someone else’s lies
and childish ways; without even knowing you brightened my day!

I hope our smiles will never fade and they continue to
fill our days with happiness! They say men are from Mars 
and women are from Venus but in our world only we
exist; our smiles…..our happiness.
