Hidden love

Hidden love

Sitting in this house
That is quiet as a mouse

All the silence is driving me crazy
Watching this computer screen being lazy

Checking my inbox hoping to see
A message from you is what I need

Knowing someone is there to help me find the right path
Avoiding you would simply fuel my wrath

When all the joking around stops
I feel as if my head is about to pop

As my anger swells to an all-time high
I rather say nothing than tell a lie

Keeping my feelings bottled up inside
Was what I was taught to hide

A man is supposed to show no emotion
One thing I fear most is rejection

I shall sit here and wait to see
If this love shall ever be
